Liberty Park
This beautiful park is over 82 acres large, and considered Salt Lake City's second largest public park. Furthermore, this park was first established by the Mormon pioneers who then sold it to the city. In 1982 the park was officially named Liberty Park and dedicated to the perished soldiers of wars.
The first impressions one encounters of Liberty Park are that of a clean, organized, idyllic place that is full of old trees and royally green lawns. Moreover, one can come across many playgrounds, a swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and picnic areas. The Tracy Aviary is a local attraction, that is located at south west side of the park, and can make for fantastic animal pictures for those of you who are animal and wildlife enthusiasts. |
ArchitectureLiberty park has some architectural sites to offer. Here you can visit the historic Chase Mill, which was build in the mid 19th century. An ancient, small amusement park, that is open in the warmer seasons can also make for interesting angles and structures.
NatureLiberty park has great amount of large trees with, green spaces and small hills. A man made pond located at the south-east side of the park has a bridge that leads to a piece of land inside the pond that includes a pavilion.

PortraitAs a park, this venue can have many possible applications. Liberty park would be an appropriate location for traditional family pictures, portrait and senior pictures, where you wish to incorporate a touch of nature.
On Sundays, an event called drum circle attracts many young people that bring a lot of interesting activities, color and music and can make for a captivating atmosphere that can be embodied in some of your portrait pictures. |
