Salt Lake City Main LibraryFlavorpill, a culture guide based of New York, ranked the Salt Lake City Main Library rightfully as one of the 25 most beautiful libraries in the world! Furthermore, world renown Canadian architect Moshe Safdie designed this library, demonstrating nothing less but a breathtaking artwork. This building was established in 2003 and has over 240,000 square feet indoor space. Inside, there are many small businesses, cafes, restaurants and modern seating areas.

ArchitectureA curved aqueduct akin wall, on the south-east side of the building gives rise to Roman Colosseum like features, while the main building's construction are strongly influenced by modern elements. Here, towards the main entrance we come to see majestic windows full of reflections and a large pond.
NatureSome park like features exist at the south side of the library, with younger trees, bright green lawn and metal benches. Here, the nature is man-made, and very organized. Finally, on the roof top one can access a garden that has potential for fantastic background views of the mountains.

Portrait
This majestic library makes for great portrait and couple photography, where many features of the architecture can be incorporated. The inside of the library can also be used for creating a strong urban/business look, where the applications range from senior pictures up to commercial photography. The inner seating places include modern furniture that can be utilized for excellent portrait pictures, where an incredible advantage of natural window lighting.
